Artist · Peace Ambassador for Art and Culture

Nubar Azimova is an artist from Azerbaijan whose practice brings together painting, texture and cultural memory. Working with stones, marble sand, oil, acrylic and epoxy resin, she builds surfaces that invite a closer look.

Azerbaijani carpet ornament, the pomegranate and the human figure recur throughout her work, connecting traditional visual language with a personal, contemporary expression.

She is the founder of Nubar Art Gallery and art school in Baku, a space for learning, exhibitions and creative exchange since 2016.
